With the introduction of 2 flex teams, we are bringing into effect a new standings system that accounts for strength of schedule.  Since the flex teams will be facing off against both divisions, the point system will reward flex teams more for A-Division wins (1.5) but less for B (0.5).  While also punishing them less for A-Division losses (0.5) but more for B(-0.5).

As for the divisional teams, they will also have adjusted point totals when facing flex teams.  A-Division wins will be rewarded less (0.5) while B-Division wins will be rewarded more (1.5).  A-Division losses vs flex teams will be punished more (-0.5) while B-Division losses will be punished less (0.5).

When playoffs come around, the flex team with more points will be placed in the A-Division playoffs, with the other being in the B.

As for individual awards for flex team players, whatever division your team ends up in, that is the division you will be competing with for individual awards.
